This past week, 24-year-old Nina Davuluri was crowned the first ever Indian American Miss America. Born in Syracuse, New York (but also having lived in Oklahoma and Michigan), Davuluri competed in the pageant as Miss New York. After winning the crown, a barrage of racist tweets called Davuluri a terrorist and questioned her "American-ness." This video highlights, through a comedic sense, an all but common question many Latinos, Hispanics, Asians, and people from other cultures may experience throughout their lifetime.
