The Line

"THE LINE"

In class we have watched the documentary "The Line"
For millions  the poverty line is always above their heads – and in our current economic meltdown many more will fall below that line.  The statistics are staggering-but how do should the issue of poverty be addressed.  With our class system in America, can anything be done?

 

Below is the poverty guidelines for 2013.

Persons in family/household	Poverty guideline
For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $4,020 for each additional person.
